How do I temporarily disable the startup scan?By default, your ESET security solution will scan programs and memory at startup. If your method start up scan is taking an unusually extended time to complete, you are able to have conflicting programs set to run at begin up.
You cannot cancel the start up scan as soon as it has started, but it is possible to temporarily disable the scan from running on method start up by right after the directions below:
- Open the principal method window by clicking the icon from the Windows notification area or by clicking Begin → All Programs → ESET → ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
- Toggle to Advanced mode by clicking Change… from the lower left corner after which clicking Yes should you are prompted to confirm or by pressing CTRL + M on your keyboard.
- In the left column, click Tools → Scheduler. The Scheduler/Planner window will probably be displayed.
